Hunter Douglas offers a Lifetime Warranty for most products
Covered by a lifetime limited warranty :
Defects - Materials, workmanship and failure to operate.
Components – Internal mechanisms, brackets and delamination of fabric.
Cords – Operational cords have a seven year warranty from the date of purchase.
Motors – Hunter Douglas motorization components have a five year warranty from the date of purchase.
Not covered by a limited lifetime warranty :
Wear and Tear- Normal aging, wind, sun, moisture damage and fading
Damage - Accidents, abuse, misuse and fading
Installation/Maintenance - Improper measurement, installation and cleaning
Costs - Shipping, removal or reinstallation
How to obtain warranty service :
Contact your original dealer (the company you purchased your blinds from) for warranty assistance. They will contact Hunter Douglas to obtain a warranty number for you. With your warranty number you can drop off your blind at our facility to have it repaired at no charge.
Contact Hunter Douglas at (888) 501-8364 and they will direct you to a local Hunter Douglas Authorized service centre in your area.
Contact us directly (Quik Blind Repair) and we can acquire your warranty number (with a fee) for you from Hunter Douglas and start working on your blind or shade.
Note : If your original dealer (the company you purchased your blinds from) is no longer in business you still have a valid warranty as per Hunter Douglas.
